If the date is confirmed, it will be the first time in 89 years that the carnival official is not held in the summer. The artists who perform the show are already beginning to think about the materials that will be used. Some carnavalescos are even enjoying the unusual date.

With the possibility of milder temperatures and even being cold, the complaints of the components in relation to the heat caused by the fantasies should decrease. Fabrics feared by school members, such as plush and velvet, are already on the list for making even more elaborate costumes. Materials that, according to some carnavalescos, have great visual appeal.

The almost naked bodies, one of the hallmarks of Rio's carnival, are guaranteed. At least that's what Portela's battery queen says, Bianca Monteiro, 32, said she will no longer cover her body because of the cold.

- I have already faced very low temperatures at the carnival in the city of San Luis, Argentina, and even so I have not changed the costume. Some people were sick during the parade. The cold of Rio doesn't scare anyone. In addition, just sambar to warm up the body. At the time of the parade the adrenaline is so high that neither cold nor heat bother you - says Bianca.
