In an interview with the newspaper O Dia, in this Monday's edition, the president of the Independent League of Samba Schools (Liesa), Jorge Perlingeiro, spoke about the Special Group parades in the 2022 Carnival.

“We're going to have an entire carnival. We cannot begin to think that we will only have half the Sambadrome. We already have the plots chosen and the order defined. The sambas are ready just waiting for the disputes' lives. It will be the biggest carnival of all time. There are 70 thousand people at Sapucaí. There is no way to check if each one was vaccinated”.

Also in an article in the newspaper O Dia, the president of Riotur, Daniela Maia, spoke about the fashion shows for next year.

“We want to make the biggest carnival of all times, paying attention to every detail to provide a sensational party. I talked, and I keep talking, with all the people who make this party amazing; and soon – still in July – we will announce the Specifications for the 2022 street blocks. I can also say that we are keeping a close eye on the carnival of Estrada Intendente Magalhães, which will be especially appreciated”, says Daniela Maia, president of Riotur .
